The trailer for the highly anticipated movie Indiana Jones
and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released on ABC’s “Good Morning
America,” on Thursday, before appearing online. The Indiana Jones fans were
thrilled and declared they were eager to see the movie, which features actors
Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBoeuf,.
The trailer opens with flashbacks from the previous Indy
films. In Raiders, "he protected the power," in Temple of Doom,
"he saved the cradle of civilization," and in Last Crusade, "he
triumphed over the armies of evil."
The teaser abounds in action scenes, die-hards and stunts,
while we can also get a glimpse of a very attractive Russian version of Cate
Blanchett, wearing a black wig.
Quick shots of the trailer suggest the action revolves
around the U.S. government
enigmatic Area 51 military base, located in Nevada. The hero appears to be taken captive
by a group of soldiers.
The video, available in the Indiana Jones official website,
has made fans speculate about the storyline. Fans seem to be overjoyed that
Harrison Ford has agreed to play in the fourth sequel of the movie, after
almost 18 years of hesitation. The actor is 65 now, but his fans all agree that
he is in perfect shape.
"I don’t think it's going to be screwed up,"
George Lucas told Vanity Fair last month.. "I think this Indiana Jones
film would be a giant hit regardless of whether the first three were there or
not. This is a very funny, adventurous and exciting movie."
The film is due to be released on the 22nd of May
2008.
