Al Pacino and Robert De Niro Reunite On Screen
Hollywood legends Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are set to reunite on screen once more, in a serial killer thriller.

The two actors have played together before but not alongside each other for long, in “The Godfather Part II” and “Heat.”

This time around, “Righteous Kill,” directed by Jon Avnet and written by Russel Gewirtz, will have the two share plenty of screen time, as they interpret police investigators tracking down a serial killer.

Co-producer Avi Lerner said in a press release: “This is an event in world history. They were in two scenes in Heat. In this movie, they are in the whole thing together.” The other co-producer is Randall Emmett.

Filming will reportedly begin this summer, in August, in Connecticut.

Both movie stars studied with legendary acting teacher Lee Strasberg. They both rose to fame during the 1970s and have multiple Academy-Award nominations and wins. Pacino has won an Oscar for his role in 1992’s “Scent of a Woman,” while De Niro has won two Oscars, for 1974’s “The Godfather, Part II” (and 1980’s “Raging Bull,” respectively.
