Angelina Jolie’s Birth, Rumours Dismissed

Angelina Jolie’s manager dismissed the rumours claiming she has given birth to twins in the south of France.

“Entertainment Tonight” first reported that Angelina Jolie gave birth on Sunday in France, citing sources saying that “Babies are great and so is mom.” Other reports claimed she had delivered two baby girls and named them Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane, honoring Jolie's late mother, Marcheline, and her partner Brad Pitt's mum, Jane.

A spokesman for the 32-year-old told People.com: “Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.” Another rep for Pitt said, “I have no idea.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have four other children: 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax and 3-year-old Zahara, who are adopted, and 2-year-old Shiloh.

Jolie had said previously that her twins were due in August.

The couple recently moved in southern France after signing a three-year lease for a 880-acre chateau on the French Riviera.

Jolie wasn’t scheduled for a visit to Etoile Maternite Catholique de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, one of the best maternity clinics in the region.

Two weeks ago Jolie publicly acknowledged she was pregnant with twins during an interview at the Cannes film festival, where she was promoting the animated film "Kung Fu Panda" and the latest Clint Eastwood directed thriller, "The Exchange."

In an interview with the Vanity Fair magazine, the Oscar-winning actress said pregnancy makes her feel sexy, “It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing.”
