Apple and TicketMaster have prepared music fans a surprise for this hot summer: buy a ticket at a summer concert on ticketmaster.com and you’ll get to choose whatever song you like from iTunes.

Purchase a concert ticket on Ticketmaster.com for any show scheduled between Memorial Day (May 28) and Labor Day (Sept. 3) and you’ll get an electronic code for a complimentary song of your choice on iTunes, plus a digital sampler featuring a selection of hand-picked music.

All you have to do after that is install iTunes on your Mac or PC and enter the promotional code to get credit for one free song. If you have more codes to redeem, you can enter them for more credits.
