Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, gave birth to a boy on Thursday night. She and her husband, Pete Wentz, were extremely happy when they welcomed their son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz. The little baby boy weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. A spokesperson told People magazine that the three of them were healthy and happy and that they were thanking everyone for the good wishes.

Simpson-Wentz announced she was pregnant in May, only a few weeks after he got married to the Fall Out Boy bassist. : "The day she found out she was pregnant, she became a woman," Ashlee’s father, Joe Simpson, told People magazine. Ashlee became well-known as Jessica Simpson’s sister but also after she had released her first debut album in 2004, Autobiography. She had also released a reality series entitled The Ashlee Simpson Show.

She married Pete Wentz on May 17, 2008, after they had apparently been together since 2006. At first they tried to deny their relationship but in the end they couldn’t hide it anymore. The two were first called an official couple when they appeared together on the cover of Rolling Stone for celebrating the opening of Wentz' bar, Angels & Kings.

In 2007, Wentz first talked about their relationship for the InTouch magazine. After that, Ashlee started to give interviews about them in magazines like Seventeen and CosmoGIRL!
