The
fourth season of The Bachelorette finished on Monday night, broadcasted on ABC,
when DeAnna Pappas accepted the proposal from Jesse Csincsak. She agreed
marrying the 25-year old professional snowboarder from Colorado,
after declining the proposal from 31-year old Jason Mesnick, an account
manager, originally from Washington.
She said she developed feelings for both men, but she had to make her choice.
Just
before the marriage proposal, Jesse admitted he had found himself head over
heels with his future bride: “I know she's the one. I'm so in love with DeAnna
-- I don't even know how to put it into words, how badly I want to be engaged
to [DeAnna]. She's just that one person that I can't see myself without. I just
want to start my life with her. I've never felt this way about anyone. I really
think she's my soul mate."
The
finale of the American competitive reality dating game show also included Jason
and Jesse heading to DeAnna's homeland in Newnan,
GA to meet her dad Greg, her
sister Crissy and her brother Thomas. The bachelorette’s family proved to be
slightly protective regarding her relationship with Jess. "We all thought
Brad was going to choose my sister, and then in the end, it just completely
crushed her," said Crissy. "It completely crushed our family."
