Even though Brad Pitt said in the past that he and Angelina
Jolie would not get married until everyone in the United States could also do
so, it appears that Hollywood’s favorite couple tied the knot on Saturday afternoon
in New Orleans, in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel, the Star’s Magazine’s
website reports.
Angelina and Brad have been together since 2005, when they
costarred in the action movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Angie is currently pregnant
with twins and the two have other four children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3,
and Shiloh, 20 months.
If the couple really decided to make the big step and got
married, that would be Brad's second time down the aisle, as he ended his
five-year marriage to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston. Angie has been married
twice previously, to Johnny Lee Miller in the late 1990s and most recently to
actor Billy Bob Thornton.
None of the Brangelina’s publicists confirmed the happy news
and according to OK! Magazine, when reached for comment on the rumors, Brad's
rep said she had “no idea” if they were true or not. Meanwhile, People.com
cited a close source to Pitt and Jolie, who apparently claimed that there was
“no wedding.”
While a pregnant Angelina Jolie was in Iraq to help
refugees on February, Brad Pitt took Maddox and Pax on their first ski trip.
The golden couple was recently spotted in Austin,
Texas, where Brad is shooting a
new movie, “Tree of Life.” It has been reported that Angelina has developed a
form of diabetes that hits pregnant women and that she is frequently seeing a
nutritionist about it.
