The iPhoneSIMFree, which is represented by a group of developers that are offering the iPhone unlock software for money, has already announced Version 1.6 of its software, which has been claimed to be capable of bringing any iPhone back to life. The software tool coming from iPhoneSIMFree is currently being sold through a network of online resellers and its price ranges between $60 and $99.

On the other hand, the iPhone Dev Team, which offers its iPhone hacks for free, has asked the “bricked” iPhones’ owners to sit tight, as a free fix will be coming very soon for them.

The both teams have started to work feverishly when Apple has released on the 27^th of September its 1.1.1 firmware update, so that they could restore the “bricked” iPhones to working condition.
