Barbara Walters is probably one
of the most “mature” American journalists of all times, so she would not lie to
us when saying that Britney Spears’ manager and good friend contacted her to
reveal some friendly secrets about his client and “good, good friend.” Yes,
Walters said recently that Sam Lutfi, the former pop princess’ manager and pal,
contacted her and said that Britney had seen a psychiatrist.
The troubled singer’s manager
seems to have said even that the 26-year-old woman was “suffering from what he
describes as mental issues which are treatable,” claimed Barbara Walters, who
is a co-host on one of ABC’s daytime talk shows.
"She has been having mood
swings. She's been having trouble sleeping, and also she is in touch with her
mother — 'cause we had heard she wasn't — and her mother has been very
supportive of whatever it is that Britney is going to do," Barbara Walters
reported. Even Sam Lutfi has been staying with the pop singer constantly; however
he also took his time and “got in touch with us,” Walters added.
Still, neither Sorrell Trope,
Britney Spears’ attorney, nor Gina Orr, her spokeswoman at Jive Records,
commented on Walter’s report.
Britney Spears’ current story is
not longer fascinating; after shaving her head, attacking cars with umbrellas,
checking and re-checking into rehabs, making friends (and enemies) with
paparazzi and many, many other strange behaviors, Britney’s career and life
seem totally lost.
