After a lot of scandals about Britney Spears coming or not coming at the MTV VMA’s this Sunday, she is said to be there on stage but not with a performance. She will make an appearance that the MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler said it will be “fun and unexpected.”

Britney Spears is nominated for three awards, including Video of the Year with her single, “Piece of Me.” Let’s hope her new appearance will get her out of the awful image she has now.

Last year’s VMA revealed an odd image of Britney Spears. Her look was awful, as well as her moves and dance. She couldn’t perform live and she looked like she was stoned besides the other dancers. In comparison to her VMA performance in 2001, she showed up last year trying to make a comeback but ended up with laughs from the audience.

Still, she said that last year is all past and has disappeared from her memory. She is now working on a new album and earlier this year she appeared very calm at “How I Met Your Mother,” on CBS. Tori Spelling said that she wants to see Britney Spears up on stage.

"I think she'll be great," the actress added.

Other stars who will perform on Sunday night will be Kayne West, T.I., Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and a new coming of Kate Perry who made a summer hit with   “ I Kissed a Girl.” Madonna will also perform on stage the single “Like a Virgin,” because the VMA celebrates its 25th year.

 Paramount Studios will host the show in Los Angeles and the British comedian Russell Brand will be the host for the evening.
