It appears that Hollywood actor
Bruce Willis is currently in talks to play a death row inmate in “Kane &
Lynch,” a thriller based on a video game, Reuters reports. The movie is a
Lionsgate’s production that veteran stunt coordinator and second unit director
Simon Crane will helm.
Willis has been rumored to star as mercenary Adam “Kane”
Marcus since last fall, and Billy Bob Thornton is supposed to be schizophrenic
killer “Lynch”, but that was not confirmed.
The flick will be produced by the same team that brought “Hitman”
to the silver screen.
Bruce Willis is currently shooting “The Surrogates,” a movie
that Jonathan Mostow is directing for Disney. The actor’s future projects
include three other films that will debut between 2008 and 2009. He will join
the “Assassination of a High School President,” a 2008 comedy where he will be
a Catholic school principal.
Willis’ two 2009 films will include the drama “Morgan’s
Summit”, where he will depict a late night radio host who promotes kindness,
but changes his demeanor after a horrific murder causes him to seek revenge and
“The Last Full Measure”, a drama film based on a true story about a Vietnam War
veteran.
