Sayed Rahman admitted to have killed Ingrid Rivera on the roof of the Spotlight Live club. The Times Square worker confessed to have taken the drunk Queens woman to the roof of the club, killing her and putting her body in a rooftop shed.

Rivera, 24, came to the club to attend the birthday party for rapper Lil’Kim. Rahman targeted the woman that was looking drunk after she had been kicked out of the club, where stars like Missy Elliott, Wyclef Jean and Busta Rhymes were partying.

He promised the 24-year-old to help her getting back into the club and led her to an elevator that took both of them up to the VIP Penthouse room on the roof, where he may have sexually assaulted her and smashed her head with a pipe.

The woman was found by a repairman on Wednesday. Her clothes were torn and there was blood everywhere.

Rahman stocked the bar and carried the ice inside the club. He had been charged with second-degree murder. Near the woman’s body a bottle of Champagne was found as walls were dirty with Rivera’s blood.

Rahman was earlier suspected by the police, as he was one of the few employees of the club that had the key to the roof. Later on, prosecutors found the pipe full of blood and checked the fingerprints, trying to match them to Rahman’s.

The club worker had no prior criminal records. The police arrested him in Harlem at his family’s apartment.

The investigations were difficult, as no surveillance video camera was working at the time of the murder.
