Diablo III Officially Announced

Gamers everywhere have recently received some terrific news, and that’s definitely just putting it lightly. A much more complex adjective should be used in this case, one that would cover fabulous, immense, marvelous, exciting and many others.

Despite the fact that a while back it was announced there would be no more Diablo sequals, Blizzard just came forward with information regarding its upcoming third game of the series.

Diablo III will bring the same kind of evil-fighting, artifact-searching, weapon-managing and spell-casting RPG experience which made the series so incredibly famous worldwide. Everything will take place in the world of Sanctuary, following Diablo II’s time frame with twenty years. Nostalgic players should be happy to learn that Deckard Cain will be making his comeback.

Gamers will be able to choose from five classes of characters, which come in both male and female versions. For the time being, only two classes have been unveiled, namely Barbarian and a new Witch Doctor. As Blizzard said, Diablo III will bring a lot more customization options than the first two titles.

The game will be running on the Havok physics engine, therefore the degree of character-environment interaction will be significantly increased.

A release date hasn’t been made public yet, as Blizzard intends to really go all out with this one and present fans with another applaud-worthy title. The company’s plan is to release both Mac and PC versions at the same time.
