After Apple Inc. has announced
the surprising price cut for its 8 GB model of iPhone, the people that had been
crazy enough to buy the smart phone for $600 have obviously become more than
angry! Apple Inc.’s image has lost a lot in these people’s eyes, as through
this move it has seemed that for the popular company the true fans’ loyalty for
this ultimate product has not in fact counted.
So, Apple Inc.’s CEO Steve Jobs
has started to receive tons of angry emails from the diddled first customers of
the iPhone. And he had to find a solution for them too; after only about 24
hours since Apple Inc. has announced the surprising drop of price Steve Jobs
has quickly decided to offer $100 of store credit for the people whose purchase
has been made outside of the 14-day sale period. It has not mattered whether
they have bought the ultimate mobile phone from an Apple or an AT&T store,
these customers have been offered a $100 store credit, which they could now
also activate.
As Jobs has promised to reveal
the details of how to activate the $100 credit in the following week since the
announcement, he has stuck to his word and the customers will be able to
activate it through some simple moves. They will have to first go to Apple’s
web site and to enter in their iPhone serial number, as well as phone number.
Then they will have to wait for an SMS text message that will bring the access
code for redeeming the $100 credit. Then, the first customers of the iPhone
will be able to use the access code in combination with their phone number for
generating an electronic store credit of $100, which will be used for buying
any Apple Store product.
It is important to know that the
first customers of the iPhone must request this credit before the 30th
of November 2007.
