Dr. Dre, on his real name, Andre Romelle Young, is an American producer, rapper and record executive who founded Aftermath Entertainment. He has become its CEO too, being also the former co-owner of Death Row Records. His last album, “Detox” is Dr. Dre’s last album and he said that this was to be a concept album.

Still, he gave up working on it, as he started recording it back in 2004. But he focused on producing for other artists, even if he didn’t give up all the work on his album. “Detox” was set to be released in 2005.

Dr. Dre dated singer Michel’le from 1990 to 1996. She contributed vocals to Death Row Records albums and the couple had a son in 1991, Marcel. In May 1996, Dr. Dre married Nicole Threatt whom he now has two children: Truth, born in 1997 and Truly, born in 2001.
 
Hood Surgeon is also Dr. Dre’s son from a previous relationship with Cassandra Joy Greene, when the rapper was only 17.

Andre R. Young Jr., the rapper’s son with Jenita Porter, was found dead over the weekend inside his home in Woodland Hills. He had been out together with some friends the night before and at 10:42 a.m. on Saturday his mother found him lifeless.

Jenita Porter and Andre Young Sr. argued in 1990 upon Andre Jr.’s custody, when she wanted, though a filed lawsuit, to have $5,000-a-month for child support. The lawsuit was filed in Orange County Superior Court and the woman said that 2 years after the boy’s birth, she didn’t receive the amount of money she had asked.
