Eva Longoria Parker “Is Just Fat”
Eva Longoria Parker “Is Just Fat”
Lately rumors have been spreading the news that the “Desperate Housewife” Eva Longoria, 33, is pregnant. But Felicity Huffman, her co-star from “Desperate Housewives” announced that Eva isn’t pregnant, “she’s just fat.” Well, it’s up to the Spanish actress to decide which of the two news best “fits” her.

On Saturday, Felicity Huffman, 45, told People magazine in Los Angeles that "she’s just fat, that’s all there is to it!" But the rumors about Eva Longoria being pregnant with Tony Parker have been spreading around all summer. Still, the actress had to gain weight for her role in “Desperate Housewives,” which will be out September 27. Because the story of the shows jumps ahead five years, Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) has to be a little fatter.

The 33-year-old actress rose fame when she played Isabella Brana Williams in the CBS’ soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” from 2001 to 2003. But she first gained a role in 2000 as a guest-star in an episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Now, Eva Longoria plays the beautiful and glamorous Gabrielle Solis in the ABC television series “Desperate Housewives,” and also stars in the movie “Over Her Dead Body.”

After she had appeared in several advertising campaigns and men’s magazines, she reached #14 in the FHM “Sexiest Women 2008.” People en Espanol listed Eva Longoria among its “Most Beautiful People” for 2003.

Still, the actress doesn’t consider her career as quickly as it appears to the audience. "I think it’s funny when people say I’m an overnight sensation, because I’ve been working at it for 10 years,” Eva Longoria said.
