Beautiful actress Eva Longoria Parker served up hamburgers
and milkshakes to several pleasantly surprised customers Tuesday at a Wendy’s in her hometown of
Corpus Christi, Texas in order to promote the fast-food chain’s forthcoming
Father’s day Frosty Weekend, E! online reports.
The “Desperate Housewives’” star surprised customers at
Wendy’s, where she used to work as a teenager. Eva was employed by Wendy’s for
three years, from 1991 to 1994.
A customer at the Corpus Christi
franchise said: “It was quite surreal to see a Hollywood
star behind the counter but she was really friendly and fitted right in.”
The event donates 50 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation for
Adoption and Wendy’s Wonderful Kids for every frosty sold.
It was recently reported that Longoria is “desperate” to
have a baby with husband Tony Parker. “Tony isn’t ready for a baby. He’s much
younger than Eva and at the top of his profession, while Eva is in her ‘baby
prim’ as she calls it. She even threatened to leave him twice before he agreed,”
a source close to the couple said.
33-year-old Longoria has model contracts with L’Oreal, Hanes
and New York & Co. She became famous while starring as Gabrielle Solis in
the ABC television series “Desperate Housewives.”
Longoria also became a nationally recognized model after
appearing in many advertising campaigns and several men’s magazines. She
married NBA guard Tony Parker in 2007 and recently declared she is ready to
quit “Desperate Housewives” in order to start a family. However, the stars from
the hit TV series renewed their contracts with ABC for other four years.
