After the iPhone had been
launched by Apple Inc. some months ago, everybody was very happy. The ultimate
gadget had been a hit before even coming on the stores’ shelves and when it was
eventually released, its fans bought it as if it were the last drop of water on
Earth. Excepting some minor problems, the iPhone has quickly become the joy of
many households, families or simply of the people that had the thousands of
dollars to buy such smart phones.
But the days of joy and glory
appear to have not been too many for the iPhone’s owners. About a month ago
Apple Inc. has deeply hit its clients, this time in a negative way. The famous
company has surprised quite everybody when it has announced a drop of price of $200
for its iPhone. Many early users have been very upset, so that Steve Jobs has had to offer
them back $100 in Apple products and so on. The problem has seemed to be
solved.
But when Apple Inc. has released
the iPhone’s first software update that has even frozen up some of the devices,
the users have gone just mad! Starting with Friday the Web has been filled with
the complaints of the angry people whose iPhones have had to suffer after the
software update has been installed.
All the unauthorized small
programs they have added to their smart mobile phones have disappeared, and in
same cases the phones have eventually frozen up, as a result of their having
been unlocked. The Apple officials have warned about the dangers of using
unlocking software, but to have your iPhone froze up is quite awful, and the
users have started to question the company’s way of thinking.
On the iPhone-related blogs the
burned owners are already writing about an “iPhone Class Action Lawsuit”. But
could this be true? Could Apple be so cruel in this situation, after the people
have spent fortunes on the ultimate gadget?
