Director Oliver Stone has released a new movie about the life of the U.S. president, George W. Bush. Written by Stanley Weiser, the movie shows some other aspects of a president’s life than a lot of movies have done it until now. The belief the movie breaths to its viewers is that the president made the world spin his way. The movie stars Josh Brolin, as George W. Bush, an actor who managed so well to enter the 43rd president of the United States inner worries and beliefs. When questioned about the movie, Stone said: “I want a fair, true portrait of the man. How did Bush go from an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?” “It includes his belief that God personally chose him to be president of the United States, and his coming into his own with the stunning, preemptive attack on Iraq,” the director added about the real character that inspired him to produce „ W.” The movie comes as a goodbye symbol for the one who has been there for the Americans since the war with Iraq started. Weiser and Stone read 17 books as a research for the movie and worked for its project for one year. „ W’ is financed independently, with Chinese, German and Australian funds and is distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment. Stone had compared his goal for „ W’ with that he had with „ The Queen” back in 2006 and said he wanted „seminal events in Bush’s life.” "It's a behind-the-scenes approach, similar to Nixon (1995), to give a sense of what it's like to be in his skin. But if Nixon was a symphony, this is more like a chamber piece, and not as dark in tone,” Stone added about his movie which will hit theatres this fall.
