Georgia are to play their World Cup qualifier against Ireland next week in the German city of Mainz, football's world organizing body FIFA said Thursday.
FIFA said it was decided to play the match on September 6 in a neutral venue in view of the current unrest in Georgia.
The Georgian Football Federation had hoped to play the match at home in Tbilisi.
