Global Warming Experts and Skeptics Meet In Parallel Conventions
As the world prepares for more bad news on global warming, and over 2,000 scientists prepare to attend the Copenhagen gathering where they will present their findings, another event taking place in New York warns about global warming nonsense.

While news of global warming have gotten worse every year, and countries all over the world are ready to take action, there are still people out there who declare themselves skeptics about the issue, and still believe that humans are clean as a whistle when it comes to producing harmful emissions.

The New York convention, called ‘Global Warming, Was It Ever Really a Crisis?,’ organized by the Heartland Institute, challenges the ideas that thousands of scientists, and The International Panel on Climate Change are currently supporting.

But moving on to the really important issues here, the Copenhagen conference will discuss the 2007 report by the IPCC, will unveil new data and measurements about sea level rise, and will hopefully help policymakers take the best decisions at the international summit on global change taking place in December.

The panel has been criticized for predicting a sea level rise of only 59 cm or 23 inches, while the new data presented at the Copenhagen summit is expected to show levels worse than that.

Many countries are already taking into consideration a dramatic reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to the 1990 level. Furthermore, things appear to be changing faster than previously thought, and the Kyoto protocol will need to be updated based on the most recent findings.
