Got Game Entertainment has announced that their interesting Penumbra Overture puzzle-FPS combination is ready for prime-time in the US.

The first units of Penumbra have been shipped in the US at the recommended price of $19.99 and is rated M for mature audience. The game projects you in the head of England resident Philip, who receives a mysterious letter from his deceased father asking him to destroy a particular book. As Philip disobeys- considering such odd order from a father he never knew as sort of a blasphemy- he reaches the icy vastness of Greenland, where, in the middle of a blistering cold, he finds the remains of a WW II underground secret base.

Below, in a maze of mines, Philip must use his wits to solve the secrets of the enigmatic inhabitants and unravel the mysteries of his father's death.
