The singer now hopes to reschedule the concert, which is part of her “Rock Withcu Tour 2008.” She seemed to have “got suddenly ill” during her sound check, according to her publicist. But last Friday, the 42-year-old singer canceled her concert in Detroit too because of “production constrains.”

The singer announced that she wants to departure from Island Def Jam and her publicist told Reuters that the label agreed to finish the relationship with Janet Jackson whenever she requested.

Janet stated that he decided to end the contract because the Island records, which released her last album “Discipline” in February, couldn’t offer her any publicity besides promoting her video “Feedback.” She was also unsatisfied about the fact that the lack of publicity made the album sell only a few copies.
