Janet Jackson’s manager stated that the 42-year-old singer is ready to return on stage and go on with her “Rock Witchu” tour. Kenneth Creaer, Jackson’s manager, also added that her mysterious disease was in a fact a rare form of migraine which made the singer to postpone most of her concert from her tour.

Still, Jackson is ready to start again on Wednesday in Washington, according to her manager. Her health problems began on September 29, only two days after she started her “Rock Witchu” tour. The singer had to cancel her show in Montreal because she “got suddenly ill” during a sound check. Jackson was hurried to the hospital and released a few hours later, but her doctor forbid her to go on with her tour.

Creaer said that Jackson had to cancel six of her concerts since then and that the doctors have diagnosed her with a migraine-associated vertigo. She is now receiving treatment. "Janet wanted very much to resume her tour so as not to disappoint her fans, but she continued to suffer from vertigo and could not perform," Creaer added in a statement.

After her show in Washington on Wednesday, the 41-year-old singer will have to make other eight shows, including one in New York. The new dates for the postponed concerts in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Greensboro in North Carolina, Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and Uncasville in Connecticut will be announced.

so very disappointed
By Tonya, (2008-10-16 19:48)
I am 36 years old, single mother of 3 young children, and it was my dream come true to see Janet live in Connecticut on October 11th.I cried when I bought the tix and cried even harder when I got a babysitter, a dog-sitter, took the weekend off from work, booked a hotel in Norwich
Conn., and drove 7 hours one way to see her perform. Hearing about cancelled shows, we were sure to check at Mohegan Sun the day before we left. We were told the show was still scheduled. Upon checking into the hotel room the manager broke the awful news to me. I was so unbelievably disappointed I cannot put it in to words.I thought my lifelong dream to see Janet was going to come true and make this 37th birthday the best ever. I cannot afford to go thru all this again so my dream was shot. What more can I say? Tonya
