Jennifer Lopez May Get Slightly Richer
The singer has been awarded little bellow $545,000 after filling a lawsuit to stop her first husband Ojani Noa from publishing a tell-all book in which he claims the singer-actress was unfaithful, Lopez's attorney confirmed Wednesday.

"I think she'd just like to see this be over," he said of his client’s reaction.

According to court papers filed in Los Angeles on Monday, Lopez is due $200,000 in damages, with the remainder covering her legal costs.

In her lawsuit Lopez claimed that Noa had violated a previous lawsuit settlement preventing him from revealing private information about their relationship, while his book is full of things that sell a book. Apparently, Noa asked for $5 million not to publish his book.

The arbitrator also decided that a permanent injunction should be awarded against Noa that would bar him from "criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement" to the singer-actress.

In his book, Noa accused Lopez of being a part of "multiple duplicitous sexual affairs" during the making of her 1997 thriller Anaconda and of running around with future third husband Marc Anthony while she was linked to Sean "Diddy" Combs, and Anthony was married to beauty queen Dayanara Torres.

Lopez’s attorney has filed legal papers asking a judge to confirm the arbitrator's decision. A court hearing is scheduled for September 5.

Noa, 33, wed Lopez, 38, in 1997. The former waiter and the then rising superstar divorced a year later.
