The Jonas Brothers are going to star in a new reality show
hosted by Disney Channel, dubbed “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream.” The series
will catch the three brothers, Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, on their
current tour called “Look Me in the Eyes.” Fans will be able to see the
brothers on and offstage, their rehearsals, their bus-travels, their interaction
with their family, but also their free-time activities, such as sky-diving and
race go-carts.
The reality show is due to be released in spring. However, no
concrete date was revealed. The elder brother, Kevin, told E! News: “We’ve been
filming a really cool reality show. They’ve been following us pretty much the
entire tour on and off, so it’l be fun for the kids to see what we are go
through day in and day out and how absolutely crazy it is for us. It’s really
exciting.”
The three young brothers have a huge following among teen
and tween girls. The eponymous sophomore album, which turned out to be a hit,
was released on the Disney-owned Hollywood Records label in August 2007. In February,
the album was certified platinum. The Jonases have joined Miley Cyrus on her
sold-out “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds” concert tour,
which started in October 2007 and ended in January.
Next, Kevin, Joe and Nick, are heading for another tour
called Burning Up which starts in July 4 in Toronto. “It’s going to be in full effect
this summer. We’re just really pumped about all the dates. It’s going to be
giant amphitheaters everywhere,” Kevin told E! News. “We’ve got other great
things planned and a lot of fun stuff for the band, so we’re really pumped.”
