Keanu Reeves will get to act alongside Kevin Federline, the former ‘Mr. Britney Spears,’ on the set of the upcoming thriller “Night Watch.”

Kevin Federline is generally known as Britney Spears’ ex-husband, as a failed rapper and a former dancer. Looks like we’ll be hearing about K-Fed the actor soon. The 29-year-old will have a part in “Night Watch,” a thriller starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker.

According to In Touch Weekly magazine, K-Fed will play a “small but notable role.”

Keanu Reeves will star as an alcoholic police officer who is framed by his former mentor (Academy Award-winning Forest Whitaker), according to imdb.com. Naomie Harris has also joined the cast.

James Ellroy and John Ridley have penned the script. David Ayer will direct. The movie was formerly known as “The Night Watchman.” It is scheduled for a 2008 release.

Kevin Federline has acted before. Fans of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” were able to see him in a 2006 episode as a homeless guy.

His debut album, “Playing with Fire,” released in October 31, 2006, was heavily criticized and hardly bought by anybody.
