Leopard represents the next
version of Apple’s Mac OS X operating system, for which’s release the famous
American company has given an October deadline. Apple has announced in April
that it delayed the new version of the popular operating system for an October
launch because it shifted its programmers to iPhone’s development.
However, as the release date is
coming the web sites have started to offer contradicting reports about whether
Apple will be eventually able of launching Leopard in October. Some web sites
have reported that Apple Inc. has already finished Leopard and it is now
preparing it for the release, while other web sites have reported that Leopard
is still being developed.
AppleInsider has said that Apple
Inc. has finalized this week the new version of the popular Mac OS X operating
system. The web site has also added that the company has already started to
prepare the training materials for the technical support staff, which means
that the company will meet the deadline it has given in April.
On the other hand, according to
another web site that focuses on Apple and its products, MacRumors, the company
has been said that it still working on its Leopard operating system and that
this one has not been officially declared done.
In the recent days, however, many
other web sites and blogs have cited different unnamed sources that have pegged
the 26th of October, as the Leopard’s release date. On the other
hand, Amazon has listed the release date for Apple’s new OS as the 31st
of October. Leopard can be already pre-ordered from Amazon, which has priced it
at $129.
