Only daughter of famous musician Elvis Presley gave birth to twins on October 7. Lisa Marie Presley, 40, has two beautiful girls whose names weren’t released yet, according to celebrity news “Entertainment Tonight” TV show’s website. Presley had to give birth through caesarean. Her girls weighed 2.7 kg and 2.3 kg and had no health problems.
The girls are Presley’s first children with her husband Michael Lockwood, 47. Also the singer’s father, Elvis Presley came from a twin’s generation. The famous rock’n’roll musician who died in 1977 had a twin. Lisa Marie Presley’s mother also has two brothers who are twins.
Lisa Marie Presley had followed her father’s career and in her early 20s, when a friend of her father’s, Jerry Schilling, helped her to record a demo in 1992, but at first she turned off the offer. In 1997, she recorded a duet of the song “Don’t Cry Daddy” with her father. Even if the song wasn’t marketed, a video of it was shown in Memphis at the 20th Anniversary Elvis concert.
In 1988, she had her first debut album with Capitol Records. At 20 years old, she got married with Danny Keough, with whom she had her two first children. Danielle Riley was born in 1989 and Benjamin Storm in 1992. Still, the couple broke up in 1994 but remained good friends for their children’s sake.
