Lynne Spears, mother of the two troubled sisters Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears, releases her book “Through the Storm” on September 16 and it will be published by Thomas Nelson, a leading Christian publisher. Lynne Spears says that her daughter Britney has overcome all her problems and nightmares of the past few years and she believes that Britney will regain her glorious times.
Her book has 211 pages and includes also family photographs. Lynne Spears tracks Britney Spears through her first early years when she was singing and dancing at the age of only three until her tragic fall. She describes young Britney as a confident whose talents came out since she was little.
Lynne Spears fells sorry for pushing Britney into the show business and says that the recently VMA awarded was focused on achievement. The mother of the two stars confesses that she gave up her job as a teacher for Britney’s sake, but as time went on she felt powerless to help Britney through her tragedy.
She said that she had felt losing control after Britney released her first single and the Rolling Stone magazine showed her daughter in panties and a bra on the cover in 1999. Lynne Spears uses a dramatic tone when she describes her feelings when she had seen her daughter shaving her head and her other daughter, Jamie Lynn, pregnant at only 16 years old.
Kevin Federline is described as a “carrying daddy,” but Britney is a good mother too only at her best. Lynne Spears speaks very well about Justin Timberlake and the relationship he had with her daughter, saying that the willful nature of the young couple made them break up.
Lynne Spears also adds that she is close to Britney again and that the singer remains a "brave little girl who sang to the skies" so long ago.
