Marilyn Manson is being sued by his former keyboardist, as
the New York Post reveals. The lawsuit is not a novelty between the two, as Stephen
"Pogo" Bier filed another one in August against Brian Warner,
the real name of the shock rocker.
In August Bier accused Warner of not paying him the right
amount of money, instead the rocker spent significant sums of money for
personal purchases that weren’t the most orthodox in the world. Bier claimed
that Warner bought “African masks made of human skin, the full skeleton of a
four-year-old Chinese girl, and the full skeleton of a 17th-century male in a wheelchair,”
or Nazi memorabilia. The purchases were made using money that should have been
shared with the members of the band, hence the accusations that Madonna Wayne
Gacy, Bier’s alias was underpaid.
This month’s lawsuit includes further details. Bier added
that Evan Rachel Wood, now Manson’s girlfriend, was arranged to receive
the “highest salary ever paid to any actress in any music video in history”
for his clip for “Heart Shaped Glasses”. Her salary was paid with the
members’ money, according to the ex-keyboardist.
Manson’s reps couldn’t be reached for further comment. In
August Brian Warner denied the allegations made his former band member to MTV
news. He precisely specified the reporters that the accusation of buying the Chinese
girl’s skeleton was ludicrous, as he bought a boy’s skeleton.
