Florida police have been searching for Caylee Anthony, 3, for more than two months. The little girl has been missing since mid-June, although her mother has reported her missing on July 15.
The authorities have found evidence that Casey Anthony’s truck indicates it had been holding the 3-year-old’s decomposed body. Sergeant John Allen said that they “ clearly have evidence that indicates that there was a dead body in the trunk of (Casey Anthony's) car, and that that body was Caylee."
FBI tests made on hair, stain, dirt and air samples in the mother’s car, which had been abandoned, led the investigators to the fact that maybe Casey was holding her little daughter’s dead body inside her trunk.
Even if Casey’s bail was paid, she was arrested again on Friday night. She had been accused of child neglect and lying to the authorities but no evidence held her in prison.
The new tests confirmed the police that Casey is a person of interest in Caylee’s disappearance and they took her back into custody. The babysitter of whom Casey told she had left her daughter with was never to be found.
The investigations made by the police in Orange County showed that the 22-year-old woman might have hurt her child, but even if it’s not like this, she is responsible if the girl is declared dead through the evidence.
