A Louisville, Kentucky, restaurant owner kicked out O.J. Simpson and his party of 12. The owner, Jeff Ruby, said Simpson was polite and said he understood, and only a blonde in his entourage tried to pick up a fight. "I didn't want to serve him because of my convictions of what he's done to those families" said Ruby of the man who was found innocent of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, in a telephone interview with Gay Socialites. "The way he continues to torture the lives of those families [...] with his behavior, attitude and conduct." The upscale restaurant is called Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, and is one of several owned by Jeff Ruby. Said Ruby, "It was a tough thing. I thought he might get physical. He ruined those people's lives. So maybe I ruined his Derby. I don't have a problem with that." Shortly before midnight on June 12, 1994 Simpson's former wife Nicole Brown Simpson (who divorced him in 1992 after an abusive relationship) and her Jewish friend Ronald Goldman were found stabbed to death outside Brown's Bundy Drive Brentwood area condominium in Los Angeles, California with the Simpson children sleeping in an upstairs bedroom. Evidence found and reportedly collected at the scene suggested that Simpson might be the killer.
