Obama’s daughters have received an invitation to the set of Hannah Montana, but it’s still not clear whether the new president of America will allow his daughters to become public figures.

Malia is 10 years old and Sasha is only 7 years old. It would be their best joy to appear on the popular Disney Channel show, but for now, it’s just talk about their maybe-guest appearance. Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley’s father, was the one who brought about the subject.

He stated that the two girls are always welcomed to make a guest appearance on the show. “The invitation is there,” he added. The 47-year-old country singer said that the guest shots are planned to take place next spring.

Still, no one from Obama’s team could confirm anything about the subject. "We're pleased that Malia and Sasha are fans and, as long as their parents say it's OK, they are invited to the set of `Hannah Montana' and all Disney Channel shows, for a guest role or a visit, anytime," a statement released by the Disney Channel on Tuesday announced.

Hannah Montana series have been nominated for the Emmy Award. The show debuted on March 24, 26, on the Disney Channel and the plot is about a girl who lives a double life. Miley Stewart, interpreted by Miley Cyrus, is a teenage school girl who at night becomes Hannah Montana, a famous pop singer.

As it was announced on April 9, 2008, the show returned with a new third season in 2008 and its production started on August 4 this years. The third season began on November 2, 2008.
