Scarlett Johansson Said “Yes” to Ryan Reynolds

Actress Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds married this weekend after they had announced their engagement in May. Publicist Meredith O’Sullivan released the breaking news but she hadn’t offered further details about the wedding. Still, the small wedding took place at the resort in Vancouver, British Columbia.

But the two seemed to have rushed a little with swearing eternal love. Scarlett Johansson declared last month that they were just enjoying their time. "We're just recently — very recently — engaged. So, you know, we're just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it's a good time and we're just ... enjoying our time to be young and engaged. I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed."

Maybe she felt what she said in August, but it seems that love conquered them so bad that they just couldn’t wait no more.

The 24-year-old actress rose fame with her 1998 role in “The Horse Whisperer.” She was also nominated for the Golden Globe Awards in 2003 for “Ghost World, Lost in Translation” and “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” This May, Scarlett Johansson released her first music album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head.”

She made her film debut in “North” in 1994 and appeared in Mandy Moore’s video for her single “Candy.” After Scarlett Johansson dated Josh Hartnett for two years until 2006, the actress started dating the Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds.

But it seems that she doesn’t believe in monogamy. She also declared that "contrary to popular belief... [I am] not promiscuous" and that she works "really hard" when she's in a relationship "to make it work in a monogamous way.”
