The Penns have had a change of heart and they stick together.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are not divorcing anymore, and however peculiar that might seem for a Hollywood couple, it is true for them. The petition seeking their divorce filed in December has been withdrawn and all we can guess now is that the couple is happy together again.

Probably their memory functions in another way than ours, as our most recent memories link Sean Penn to model Petra Nemcova, and the two of them to the after-Oscar parties. The Oscar-winner and Nemcova were also seen together at Elton John’s AIDS fundraiser and appeared as two love birds canoodling.

Even though the secret of the reconciliation hasn’t been disclosed, it is clear that something did a miracle work, as Sean Penn and Robin Wright were spotted together at an Eddie Vedder concert at the University of California, Berkeley recently. Moreover, Sean dedicated a song to his wife for her birthday from the stage.

The divorce had its twist and turns from the very beginning, though. Sean’s divorce petition filed on December 7 was dismissed on December 18. Three days later, Robin Wright filed the divorce papers, a case that was dismissed this week.

The newly-reconciled couple tied the knot 11 years ago, but the two had been dating long before saying their vows. They have two children together, 17-year old Dylan Frances and 14-year old son Hopper Jack.
