Street Fighter IV Hits Two Million Milestone
According to its publisher, Capcom, Street Fighter  IV, the new rendition of the 20-years-old franchise, is a huge success. The game was launched in Japan on February 12 and in North America five days later. Street Fighter IV landed in Europe on February 20.

Since its launch, Capcom has shipped 2 million copies of Street Fighter IV worldwide as the company states in a press release.

Although this is already a good new, Capcom hopes that is only the beginning because the game sales will be surely boosted by the release of the Street Fighter movie, “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li”, that is scheduled to be premiered on February 27.

Also, a release date for the PC version is yet to be announced by Capcom.

Street Fighter IV features a mix of returning favorites such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile along with new characters created for this game, such as Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.
