Eli Manning, this year’s Super Bowl-winning quarterback, and
his fiancé, Abby McGrew, are rumored to get married this Saturday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Apparently, they are
planning to have a private ceremony. One of Manning’s friend s told New York’s Daily News
that the party “will be small, just friends and family."
The couple had allegedly flown to Mexico on Thursday. The Saturday
event will take place at the One&Only Palmilla resort – whose Web site says
of the plush oasis: "The purity and beauty throughout the grounds of
One&Only Palmilla allows for a variety of intimate celebration venues."
One&Only Palmilla resort was host for Ioan Grufford’s wedding and also for the
one of the British actress' Alice Evans.
According to The Daily News, attendants of the Manning and
McGrew wedding will include the New York’s Giant quarterback’s brothers, Super
Bowl XLI champ Peyton and older sibling Cooper, and also their parents, Olivia
and Archie, who has also been a NFL hero.
The 27-year-old sportsman and his 24-year-old girlfriend
know each other since collage. They both attended the University of Mississippi.
After just one year of engagement, Manning decided to pop the question. McGrew
is currently an account executive for Pamela Roland, a designer of evening wear
and wedding dresses. Her father was the first one to confirm the couple’s
little secret when he told the New York Post earlier this month that "It's
toward the end of April. It's private," referring to the special event.
