Glue inside a custard pie thrown in the face of a victim could effect a neat assassination, according to a terrorism manual at the centre of a Sydney court case that could land Belal Khazaal in jail.
Another method recommended in the 102-page manual was enveloping the person to be killed in a strong plastic bag, the court was told Friday.
Khazaal, who titled his book Provisions on the Rules of Jihad, pleaded not guilty to knowingly making a document connected with assistance in a terrorist act. He also denied attempting to incite the commission of a terrorist act.
The document, posted on the internet in 2003, lists 12 methods of assassination including car bombs, booby traps, shooting down planes and "hitting with a hammer."
US President George W Bush was among a list of assassination targets.
The doctored-custard-pie method was recommended because the victim would not know that the glue inside would block up his nose and mouth and cause suffocation.
