When you think “sexiest woman alive”, whose image comes to
your mind? If you cannot decide on the spot, the October 16 issues of the Esquire
magazine brings you the name and the pictures of the woman that suits perfectly
the title, and that is, unsurprisingly, Charlize Theron.
The 32-year actress that owns an
Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award dethroned the last
years’ famous names, including Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie or Scarlett
Johansson. Besides the photos that depict the perfection of her body,
Theron also shares with the Esquire readers her political views and sincere
criticism headed towards herself.
Despite her rewarded career and the recognition she
receives, Charlize Theron admits that there have been less fortunate moments of
her career. “‘Reindeer Games.’ That was a bad, bad, bad movie. Even though the
movie might suck, I got to work with John Frankenheimer. I wasn't lying to
myself - that's why I did it. I mean, he directed ‘The Manchurian Candidate,’
which is like the movie of all movies.” And if this is what she claims,
we should believe her.
The South-African actress didn’t avoid talking about her
native country, too, expressing her political views altogether. “I grew up in a
country that learned the lesson that you can't impose your way of life on 26
different kinds of people just because you call yourself righteous. I think
there are lessons this country still has to learn. Doesn't mean they can't be
learned,” Theron said.
Irish actor Stuart Townsend is the lucky man to be
with the sexiest woman alive, since their 2002 thriller ‘Trapped’. The couple’s
next collaboration was in ‘Head In The Clouds’ in 2004.
