Actress Jessica Alba, who married her longtime
boyfriend Cash Warren three weeks ago, has given birth to a baby girl,
according to US Weekly magazine. The same source reported the 27-year-old gave
birth at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California,
over the weekend.
The magazine’s insider told that “Alba’s
father was overheard saying ‘she’s beautiful,’ while Warren was spotted carrying food into the
maternity ward Sunday.”
One of the “sexiest” women in the world –
she was No.1 to FHM readers last year and reached No.3 this year – announced last
December that she was pregnant. The two met on the set of “The Fantastic Four”
in 2004, where Warren
worked as director’s assistant. The 27-year old Jessica Alba and the 29-year
old Cash Warren have been since then together, forming a happy couple.
When asked about her pregnancy, Alba said
it is “quite a blessing and it couldn’t be more perfect timing.” She compared
the experience with that of a roller coaster of emotions, saying pregnancy is
not something she is used to. “Anything could make me incredibly angry or break
down crying,” the actress told the TV show “Extra.” Her only fear about
mommyhood was breastfeeding. She admitted she was “excited for motherhood,”
although she didn’t plan her pregnancy.
Alba’s most recent appearances have been
the thriller “Awake,” the romantic comedy “Good Luck Chuck” and “The Ten.” Alba
rose to fame with the television series “Dark Angel” (2000-2002). She later
appeared in various films such as “Honey” (2003), “Sin City”
(2005), “Fantastic Four” (2005), “Into the Blue” (2005), “Fantastic Four: Rise
of the Silver Surfer” (2007) and “Good Luck Chuck” (2007).
The couple exchanged vows during a low-key
ceremony in Beverly Hills
courthouse on May 19.
