Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson Engaged
The charming actress Uma Thurman is engaged to London financier Arpad “Arki” Busson, according to news reports. If the Oscar-nominated actress decides to make the following step in this relationship and marry her new beau, this will be Thurman’s third wedding. The “Kill Bill” star was previously married to actor Ethan Hawke, with whom she has two children. They divorced in 2003. She was also married to actor Gary Oldman.  Busson has two sons with supermodel Elle Macpherson. Their relationship finished in 2005.

Her representative Stephen Huvane confirmed the rumors, “I can confirm she is engaged,” Huvane was quoted as saying by the celebrity Web site People.com.

The actress and the multimillionaire began dating last summer and in a short period of time their relationship grew. Businessman Busson is the founder and chairman of EIM Group, a fund management business based in London.

The proof of their engagement is a diamond ring, which is so big “she can’t fit it through the sleeve of her coat,” as Thurman’s friend said, quoted by the New York Daily News.

Earlier this month Jack Jordan, 34, the man who for the past two years had been stalking Uma Thurman and harassing her family, was sentenced to probation in the US.

Thurman, 38, performed in a variety of movies, ranging from romantic comedies and dramas to action thrillers and science fiction. She is best known for her roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill,” and “The Producers.” The Academy nominated actress rose to fame with the films “Dangerous Liaisons” (1998), “Pulp Fiction” (1994), “Gattaca” (1997) and “Kill Bill” (2003-04).
