Warner Bros Corp. announced at the end of July that the new and last Harry Potter movie will be released on November 21 this year. After the trailer for the movie has been released fans expected the great story. But they will have to wait a little bit longer, since the producers changed the release day from November to July, 17, next summer.
Gossip says that Warner Bros. postponed “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” because Daniel Radcliffe will appear this fall in “Equus” naked on the stage and having sex. This is quite funny, because the company doesn’t want the image of a chaste and virginal Harry Potter to be misinterpreted with the image Daniel Radcliffe made in “Equus.”
Images of the movie lie all over New York and they show Daniel Radcliffe’s ass on a horse’s head and this just doesn’t fit with the things Harry Potter learns at Hogwarts. It seems that little and shy Potter will have to divide into the two totally different roles.
Still, this seems not to be the real reason for the postponing. Sources say that money is the real problem, as the Warner Bros. Corp. believes that releasing the movie during the summer swill bring more money than it would have brought if it were released in the fall.
It’s obvious that the movie is made for children and that a summer release will be more adequate than a fall one, as during the summer vacation children would have more time to be interested in Harry Potter and his adventures.
