Matt Damon, on his real name Matthew Paige Damon, is an American screenwriter and an actor. For the screenwriting of “Good Will Hunting” he received the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Since 1997, he is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood.

The film gained Matt Damon and Benn Affleck an Oscar for the best original screenplay.

Matt Damon has also been involved in charitable organizations, as ONE Campaign or H20 Africa Foundation. His first role was in 1988 in “Mystic Pizza,” when he was only 18 years old. Other important roles were in “Courage Under Fire,” “Geronimo: An American Legend,” and the hit actions flicks, "The Bourne Identity," "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum."

The actor met Luciana Bozán Barroso, 32, back in 2003 while she was working as a bartender in Florida. At that time, Matt Damon was filming “Stuck on You.” They got married two years later in New York and now have three daughters.

Isabella, their first daughter, was born in 2006 and Luciana also has another daughter from a previous marriage. On Wednesday, the couple gladly received their second daughter, whom they named Gia Zavala Damon.

Spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said that the couple was “doing well” and Gia is “a healthy, beautiful baby girl.” No further details were released but Matt and Luciana must be very happy!
