Part of the business is rumors! So, will Apple really reveal a new iPod device with more features or is this just phantasmagoria? People have started to talk (a lot) about this new iPod and the rumors have even increased after Apple has invited the press on the 5^th of September for a mysterious announcement. But could this really be related to a brand new iPod? The iPod and Apple’s fans and most of the observers have already agreed that yes, Apple might reveal the new device that is expected to have more features for the same price.

The ones who have started these rumors seem to have taken into account also the fact that Apple has unveiled a month ago through a similar move an update for its iMac desktop computers. Apple has introduced more features in the device and has also dropped its price in some cases.

Still, this similitude is not enough for a conclusion, but the annalists, such as David Bailey from Goldman Sachs, have even said that the new device would be the first one to be based on a version of the company’s homegrown computer OS. They have also said that the new iPod will be smaller (about one inch shorter) and that it will be capable of storing more digital media. Although these features would be natural for an improved version of the device, the “prediction” that it would be based on Apple’s OS might involve some well-placed sources.

All in all till the 5^th of September there are only several days left. If you think buying an iPod, wait a little bit: maybe the rumors are true!
