Exceptionally Popular Carl’s Jr. To Enter the UK Market Soon

Carl’s Jr, The popular US burger restaurant chain, has planned to enter the UK market and expand by opening restaurants in London and other major UK cities. The brand which was launched in 1941 in America already has a strong base made by its 1000 restaurants in 28 markets across the world. It is one of the world’s most popular QSR chains.

In Europe too, the brand has 79 restaurants covering countries like France, Denmark, Spain, Turkey and Russia. Now the brand intends to target the Germany and the UK market for further expansion. Carl’s Jr. General Manager, in Europe and Russia, Tim Lowther has stated the brand is looking for a master franchisee in the UK to partner with.

The brand has worked on master franchising models across Europe. Now they are looking at the UK market as a wonderful huge opportunity where they can work with an ambitious partner. Though the brand is relatively new in the Europe market, in the US the brand has worked for over 80 years.

The brand is willing to listen to each market’s needs and adapt themselves accordingly. They believe they have enough space in the UK market despite the QSR sector being relatively crowded in the UK. The brand’s confidence lies in the fact that Carl’s Jr. sits in the ‘QSR Plus’ sector, with competitive menu prices which are similar or slightly above existing popular brands like Burger King and McDonald’s.
