From No-Name To Number Ones: The Growth Of The Hello Group

Kyran Jones is a fast-rising executive in the entertainment business, specializing in music and original content in the young adult and family sectors. At just 25 years old, he is the COO of The Hello Group (THG), which he co-founded with his brother Taylor in 2016 to launch the careers of potential stars in the music industry. After a protracted lawsuit cut short Taylor’s pop career, the brothers resolved to ensure integrity and collaboration would always be critical values for their company. Kyran still manages his brother’s creative career as a multi-platinum songwriter, producer, and screenwriter, to this day.

THG began as Hello Management, and the Jones brothers launched the company by focusing on signing strategic talent with large social media followings but who had talent in music and performance. With their combined contacts in entertainment, it wasn’t long before the company was considered one of the UK’s leading digital talent agencies.

The Jones brothers’ first move was a masterstroke. In late 2016, they organized and produced a charity initiative (‘Hello Christmas’) and arranged for 30 social media influencers to fly to Amsterdam to record a Christmas record and music video supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The project caught the attention of major companies such as Shazam, musical.ly, Rode Microphones, Studio 71, BBTV, and SEGA, who all opted to sponsor the project, which garnered support from The Sun, METRO, Daily Mirror, BBC News, and more.

The success of the event enabled the company to increase its reach and grow revenue quite substantially. Shortly afterward, Kyran and Taylor signed Junior Eurovision and Pop Idol winners and began representing Grammy Award-winning duo The Jackie Boyz as talent managers for European endeavors. The triumphs just kept on coming for Hello Management as it expanded into Holland, Australia, Belgium, and parts of Asia. Hello Management is now a 7-figure business and a fundamental division of The Hello Group’s parent company.

Six years later, The Hello Group is a multi-million dollar business with offices worldwide and divisions in music, publishing, film/tv, digital, live touring, sports, and even technology. Kyran has been promoted from COO of Hello Management to COO of The Hello Group and its parent Hello Ventures, up until recently, focusing on its European and Asian operations.
