The importance of mentorship with Antonia Stephenson II

Having a mentor in your life has been the spark for a lot of successful business owners in the two last decades, thanks to technology. With the advancement of technology and the amount of information you can have access to, you can have a mentor from anywhere around the world. Sometimes you may not even have direct access to that mentor but they put out enough information on a specific topic through social media platforms such as Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook. Antonia Stephenson II admits that he wouldn’t be half as far without mentors. “My first business mentor was Grant Cardone, I read his book, “The 10x Rule” and literally got to work” he says.

Having a mentor is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity in these times. “To me I feel like having a mentor is a way to shorten your learning curve because a mentor will teach you all the things to not do” Antonia explains. “When I finish got started in business, I didn’t have anyone to turn to in my family because no one in my family was a business owner so I had to heavily rely on books, Youtube, and networking events to get my start in business” he continues.

Mentors just aren’t used for business, you can have fitness mentors, spiritual mentors, marriage mentors, and the list goes on. The reality of the fact is this, any area you’d like improvement on, there’s more than likely someone out there that has been where you are and has gotten to where you want to be and those people can help you.

If you’re not sure where to find a mentor, just check your specific industry and see how’s making a big splash and start working your way up the ladder from there.
