Apple registers two more iPad models ready to launch later this year

We may have a new set of iPad models launched later in 2019 as Apple has registered two more tablet models in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) regulator, as per listings unmasked by MySmartPrice.

In the listings, which were later confirmed by MacRumors, the new additions appear with the names A2200 and A2232.

The two new mystery iPads follow the 5 other new iPad models which were listed on the EEC database previously this month. It is likely that a few of these may be just minor variations in terms of storage instead of major refreshes.

Though the new filings don’t reveal much about the devices but all that is known is that both these iPads are listed as running on iPadOS, which is due for release this September. Therefore, it is quite possible that the company may be planning for an October iPad event.

Well, what we do know for now is that Apple already launched a 7.9 inch iPad Mini and a 10.5 inch iPad Air this year, so these two will not be receiving revisions anytime soon. On the other hand, there is also a possibility that Apple may launch a successor to its entry-level USD 329 iPad model this fall.
